Adropin
Adropin is a newly discovered biologically active protein encoded by the energy balance gene. It consists of 76 amino acids and plays an important role in regulating energy metabolism to maintain insulin sensitivity. Endothelial cells are a thin layer of specialized epithelial cells, which are flattened by a layer. The cells are composed of a polygonal shape, and the edges of the cells are serrated and fitted to each other.
